While I was a Museum Studies Intern at the Arthur B. McDonald Astroparticle Physics Research Institute in 2018, in response to stakeholder interest I researched and wrote an overview of Augmented Reality technology available at that time and how we might best use it in the Visitor Centre.

Library and Archives Canada, Genealogy Department

While working in the genealogy department of Library and Archives Canada (2019), I noticed an increase in questions about direct-to-consumer genetic testing (i.e. Ancestry, 23andme) and its role in genealogical research. So, I researched and drafted a report on the subject, becoming the on-site expert on this topic, training other team members on it, and assisting several clients who were adoptees or otherwise had little access to family information.

Laurier House National Historic Site

The following example was written as part of my work as Visitor Centre Attendant at Laurier House National Historic Site. In 2024 we changed POS systems and I was tasked with rewriting and clarifying all of our procedures and instructions accordingly.
